Notre Mission

Version Française en route

Our Association is the most recognized and respected association for hands-on project management and cost professionals in different industries.  Close to 50 years in existence, the association library, references and publications are the most referred to and respected among project and cost management professionals.

For our local section, we are busy keeping up with the regular technical meetings and inviting speakers or seminar conductors to share their experience and knowledge with us.  So far we have some speakers lined up, waiting for their final commitments and schedule.  Selected technical meetings presented previously to our section are briefly described.

Certification is gaining more popularity among many large firms and institutions.  Becoming certified is a personal as well as a recognized and respected achievement with many benefits for the long term. We are prepared to host a certification exam for interested candidates.

AACE International is always encouraging continuing education and promoting itself through universities.  We have awarded and continue to award, several scholarships to students from three universities in Montreal, in coordination with our AACE International Headquarters in Morgantown, WV for possible “matching funds” to some potential ones.

Our program for the coming two years is to: Keep inviting speakers on interesting projects and topics.

Through this web page, we should be able to provide our members and prospective members a better and faster service in terms of communications and contacts.

E Mail addresses for all our members need to be complete as soon as possible. Other interested individuals are welcome to register their E Mail addresses with us.

Please click here if you have not yet provided your E Mail address to us.

Through this page we are planning to:

  1. Establish a direct contact between the section officers or directors and our members. Meetings and speakers, Certification, Scholarships and special services on a requested basis.
  2. Inform our members of upcoming events such as technical meetings, Seminars,……etc.

  3. Establish a resource pool for our members to provide their services in their field of specialties, whether as employees or self employed. This will be first tested locally, with a potential to expand nationally and to communicate with other sections in Canada and in the US.
  4. Provide feedback from our members about services required and suggest ideas.

We need your help and cooperation to succeed in this endeavor, which will benefit all of us in the long run.
